Caramel Syrup

1 ½ c. sugar
¾ c. milk
½ c. butter
2 Tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix in a big pan. Boil, stirring constantly, for 7 minutes. Add 1 tsp. vanilla and stir for 1 minute.
